Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

This policy applies to all persons working for or on behalf of Trentside Fixings Ltd in any capacity. We strive to ensure that all levels of employees and people associated to us conform to this policy, including directors, salesmen, administrators, warehouse operatives, delivery drivers, suppliers and customers. Trentside Fixings Ltd prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. As a company we will not knowingly deal with or support any business involved in slavery or human trafficking. We expect that our suppliers and customers will hold their own policy to the same high standards.

As a company we expect that everyone working with us or on behalf of us are committed to support and uphold the following measures we take to safeguard against modern slavery:

1. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organisation and our supply chains.

2. The duty of care to report modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our organisation or supply chain. Our workers are responsible for informing the correct personnel upon detection of any activity which may lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy.

3. We are committed to engaging with our suppliers and customers to address the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain.

4. We take a cautious approach when engaging with new and current suppliers or customers to ensure they cohere to our Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy. As part of an ongoing due diligence process, we will consider whether circumstances warrant us carrying out audits of suppliers and customers of their compliance to our policy.

5. If we find that individuals or organisations that we deal with or support have breached this policy we will ensure that we take the appropriate action. After reporting, we will consider the best possible action for ourselves which may result in terminating such relationships.

6. Trentside Fixings Ltd undertake responsibility for implementing this policy and its objectives and will review the policy statement annually.
